Our speaker was Tarrie Burnett, Refugee & Asylee Program, Lutheran Family Services of Colorado. Her topic was "Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountain's Role in Victim of Trafficking Service Provision."

Tarrie Burnett graduated from the University of Denver's Graduate School of Social Work in 2008 with a focus on international community social work. Tarrie has worked in the Refugee and Asylee Program for Lutheran Family Services for the last four years serving in a variety of capacities. She has maintained her focus on serving Victims of Human Trafficking through her work with LFS and as a founding member of The Human Trafficking Taskforce of Southern Colorado where she serves as a community presenter and a member of the Steering Committee. Tarrie was born and raised in Colorado and loves to ski and run in the mountains with her 8 year old daughter.

                    Our meetings are open to organizations and individuals who are interested in stopping
                    Modern Day Slavery, especially in our community.
