Our speaker was Janet Stansberry Drake, Senior Assistant Attorney General, Special Prosecutions Unit. She presented: "A Victim-Centered Response to Human Trafficking."

She graduated from CU Law School in 1996, and went into private practice as a litigation attorney. After 10 years as a trial attorney in private practice, she moved to the Special Prosecutions Unit at the Colorado Attorney General's Office. She's been prosecuting a variety of multi-jurisdictional organized crime cases since 2006. She became active in the anti-human trafficking movement in 2007, and is a member of the Colorado Anti-Human Trafficking Working Group, the Innocence Lost Task Force, and she's a state advisory board member for the Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking.

                    Our meetings are open to organizations and individuals who are interested in stopping
                    Modern Day Slavery, especially in our community.
