Our speaker was Emily Lafferrandre, Director of Education and Advocacy, Prax(us). She is the co-director with Magalie Lerman, Director of Outreach & Organizing, who will be unable to join us this month. Emily's topic was, an 'Overview of Denver's Domestic Trafficking Situation.' Emily is a recent graduate of the University of Denver's Korbel School of International Studies and has had a wide experience with organizations around the issue of exploitation and human trafficking. Prax(us) is a Denver-based nonprofit that works with homeless youth who are currently involved in or vulnerable to human trafficking. Prax(us) is the only organization in Colorado dedicated to serving individuals, particularly homeless youth, in domestic human trafficking situations.

                    Our meetings are open to organizations and individuals who are interested in stopping
                    Modern Day Slavery, especially in our community.
