Our February speaker was Alicia Wagner, Victim Specialist for the FBI. The title of her presentation was "The FBI's Victim Assistance Program." Alicia has been a Victim Specialist with the FBI for almost 6 years. She spent 2.5 years in Northern Minnesota, 2 years in New Hampshire and Maine, and the last year here in Colorado. Prior to her work with the Bureau, she was an advocate and then a special events/volunteer coordinator for a non-profit domestic violence and sexual assault agency in Bismarck, ND. In total, she's been doing victim assistance for almost 11 years. She hails from the great state of North Dakota and graduated from the University of North Dakota. She is currently working on a M.S. Psychology. She shared with us a little about the FBI, their victim assistance program, and how they work Human Trafficking cases.

                    Our meetings are open to organizations and individuals who are interested in stopping
                    Modern Day Slavery, especially in our community.
