May 2015 - Monthly Meeting

Tuesday, May 12, 2015
5:30 - 7:00 pm

First United Methodist Church, Room 21, Basement
420 N Nevada Ave.
Colorado Springs, CO 80903

Our guest speaker was Pamela Harvey, the Chief Development Officer for Restore Innocence. Martin Luther's quote, "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere" resonates with Pam Harvey.
Pam got involved with the abolitionist movement to end human trafficking after an extensive faith based search into the issue. That investigation inspired her to sell a successful business so that she could become a full-time abolitionist.
Pam is the former Colorado State Director of the Not for Sale Campaign, a major anti-human trafficking organization, and also worked with Transitions Global, an international organization that empowers girls rescued from sex slavery, as their National Director of Advocacy and Education for five years.
Her current position is the Chief Development Officer for Restore Innocence.
Pam is a member of Greenwood Community Church in Denver, Colorado, a mom and mother-in-law to two great kids, has two ofthe cutest grandchildren ever, is a horrible cook, and needs to work out more and read less. She enjoys life.

Our meetings are open to organizations and individuals who are interested in stopping
Modern Day Slavery, especially in our community.
