May 2018 - Monthly Meeting

Tuesday, May 8, 2018
5:30 - 7:00 pm

First United Methodist Church, Room 21, Basement
420 N Nevada Ave.
Colorado Springs, CO 80903

Our guest speaker was Amanda Finger, Executive Director of the Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking. Amanda discussed the upcoming Colorado Project 2.0. In 2013, the Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking led the Colorado Project to Comprehensively Combat Human Trafficking (the Colorado Project) - a statewide project consisting of a survey, focus groups, and interviews that established a baseline of Colorado's anti-trafficking efforts. The findings produced a report of Colorado's strengths and gaps in comprehensively addressing human trafficking, resulting in the "Colorado Action Plan." Now five years later, we are conducting this same statewide project to measure the changes that have occurred - "The Colorado Project 2.0."

Our meetings are open to organizations and individuals who are interested in stopping
