5:30 - 7:00 pm

First United Methodist Church, Room 21, Basement
420 N Nevada Ave.
Colorado Springs, CO 80903

Our guest speaker was MK Esther.
MK has over 20 years of experience in communications and ministry. She has BA degrees and an MA degree in Communications. She has counseled and taught Bible classes for women's drug rehabilitation centers. She also directed a public relations agency in New York City for seven years, representing NGOs, entertainment personalities and recording artists. She is the author of several books; three for teens, two for college students and one for those working with "at risk" children. She is an expert in international communications. She has traveled to many countries including Israel, Belgium, Canada, Japan, Singapore, India, China, Thailand, Nepal, Taiwan, South Africa, France and Mexico.

In 1991, while living and working in New York City, MK began a 501c3 non profit organization, Brand New Images, Inc., an organization that provides healing and restoration for "at risk" women and girls. They work with assisting young girls captured in child sex tourism, preventing them from being trafficked in South East Asia. They have also developed counseling programs for healing and restoration among victims of trafficking.

"In South Africa, I witnessed injustice on a scale that brought me to tears. In Southeast Asia, I saw women imprisoned in caves without hope of freedom." says MK. She continues to travel to third world countries with her message of hope.

MK speaks at associations, conferences, trade shows, women's and singles groups, correctional institutions, schools, churches and community groups.

MK is a former member of the National Speakers Association and Global Speakers Federation. Dick Bruso, past president of NSA Colorado says of MK, "She is one of the most authentic and gifted presenters I have heard."
